Valve's Steam Frame is confirmed for a summer 2026 release, and it's the official successor to the Valve Index — a headset we've supported since day one. We're getting ready for launch the same way we did for Meta Quest 3 and PSVR2: by preparing our gun stocks ahead of time, so you're not stuck waiting once your headset arrives.

Preorder-ready now: select SPINE and Asset gun stocks below already support Steam Frame as a preorder option. Order now, and we'll make sure your stock is ready to pair with Steam Frame's included Roy controllers as soon as exact dimensions are finalized closer to launch.

A note on compatibility: Steam Frame ships with new "Roy" controllers, which haven't been released for hands-on testing yet. We'll update exact fit specs and any needed mounting adjustments the moment we can test real units — the same process we followed for every previous headset launch.

Every stock in this collection already works with the VR shooters you play today, including Ghosts of Tabor, VAIL, Onward, Contractors Showdown, Contractors Exfilzone, Breachers, Pavlov, Zero Caliber: Reloaded, Population: ONE, Into the Radius, H3VR, Sniper Elite VR, Crisis Brigade 2, Silent North, GRIM, and X8. The same titles expected to support Steam Frame at launch.
