Quest 2 Back on Sale with Double Storage

The worlds most popular VR headset is back on the market, with 128GB of storage for the same price as the 64GB

Facebook's Oculus Quest 2 has resumed it's sales on August 24th, following a full recall on all their Q2 headsets due to a foam faceplate issue. Back in July, there were a growing amount of issues with people having bad skin rashes and other skin problems due to the foam inside their headset. For those who had already purchased a headset, Oculus sent out an email to send them a free face cover for their headset. Since not being for sale for almost a month, the Oculus Quest 2 is back on the market with an anti-irritation silicone faceplate as well as double the storage space... all for the same price as the original!

If you're not super into virtual reality yet, here's why you should know about the importance of this matter. The Quest 2 from Oculus is easily the best virtual reality headset to purchase right now for not only entry level players, but even to those who are willing to put down $1,000 on a Valve Index.

It's the only of it's kind with the quality and backing behind it from Facebook, as well as being a standalone headset.

Meaning no wires, and no expensive gaming computer you'll have to pair with it to start playing. You simply put the headset on wherever you're at and get to playing. Apps are downloaded right to the headset's onboard storage, which is why doubling the storage to 128GB for the bottom model may be a very nice incentive for finally going all-in on the search 2. (Note: the search 2 also features a 256GB model, but its price remains set at $399, and it's out of stock at the most stores.)

The Quest 2 features a great games library available within the Oculus Store, from Beat Saber and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners to Tetris Effect, Moss, and Superhot.

Doubling as a PC VR headset when plugged in, the Oculus Quest 2 gives you access to Valve's Steam Library which has the amazing Half-Life: Alyx, space-combat game Star Wars: Squadrons and more.

So if you haven't already, you should get one. You'll be in for a good time.
